Atmosphere: ‘Ohana is full of Hawaiian decor and theming. As soon as you enter the waiting area you feel the warmth and invitation of the comfortable rattan furnishings and the large exposed beams everywhere. The entire restaurant is surrounded by wall to wall windows so as you are eating you can look out of the window and see the water and lush greenery, really adding to the Hawaiian vibe the place offers. ‘Ohana offers many sizes of tables and lot of big tables, since this is a family restaurant. After all, ‘Ohana means family. This is a character dining experience so during your meal, you will be greeted by Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and our favorite, Stitch! If you have kids who love any of these characters, or love to dance, get ready; the kids are invited to join into the “conga” line with the characters and march/dance all around the restaurant. Overall, the experience of ‘Ohana was very positive and the atmosphere is fun.

Food: Before you are even seated you are greeted by your “cousin” (waiter) and given warm coconut bread! You carry it to your table and take a seat. When you are seated you are immediately given delicious island juice. If you are there for breakfast, you will be given a large skillet platter with scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, pork sausage, fresh fruits, and waffles (we were served Stitch waffles). The meals are all you care to eat, so they will bring you as many skillets as you can handle! Disney is not very famous for it’s breakfasts, but we do have to admit that ‘Ohana offers a better than average breakfast. We really enjoyed the juice, but were split right down the middle on the coconut bread. The service was fantastic, and your “cousin” is always ready to bring refills on drinks or food.

  • Mobile ordering is not available at the time of this review.
  • Reservations are highly recommended. Even with a reservation, our party of four had to wait several minutes to be called.
  • If you would like to meet all of the characters, be sure to go for breakfast. It is only a character meal for breakfast!
  • If you would like to try a more relaxed character dining experience, this is it for you. Since you are not getting up for a buffet, and instead being served, theres no chance you will accidentally miss your character.
